Colet Abedi

Colet Abedi is an American novelist, screenwriter and television and film producer based in Los Angeles. She was head writer and showrunner for the FOX-owned MyNetworkTV serials, American Heiress and Fashion House. She was the creator and executive producer of Unsealed: Alien Files and Unsealed: Conspiracy Files – with over 100 episodes, is now on Netflix.

As well as writing contemporary romance, Colet is the co-author of the bestselling young adult fiction trilogy, The FAE Series. Abedi recently co-produced the feature documentary, The Medicine, which follows one of the youngest spiritual leaders in Colombia, Taita Juanito Chindoy Chindoy as he uses an ancient plant medicine to transform lives. As well as her book and television career, Colet is set to produce the films, The Twisted and The Devil in the Kitchen (based on the life of Rock & Roll chef Marco Pierre White).  

Colet is a native of California, graduated with a B.A. in English literature from the University of California at Irvine, and currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two dogs.
