Partnering with Physicians to Prevent Opioid Abuse Before It Starts

OUR MISSION

According to the 2017 National Survey on Drug and Health, 11.4 million people misused prescription opioids.  JADE has developed a specialized prevention program to provide chronic and acute pain suffering patients with access to prevention education and resources for individuals who may start to struggle with their dependency on prescription pain medications.

Our education program

Creating the Future in Opiate Use Prevention

Our interdisciplinary model of care focuses on prevention initiatives and assessing the psychology of patients needing opiates for chronic or acute pain. Through a comprehensive program, we educate pain patients on everything from recognizing the signs of misuse to developing and utilizing support systems.

Easy to Get started

Through our tele-health platform, we can service pain management groups nationally and at the convenience of the patient. We handle the administrative effort and update your systems with patient assessments and outcome information.

Be part of the Solution

Current statistics on the number of opioid deaths and substance abuse disorders indicate we need to do more in the prevention of opioid misuse. According to the Center of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) around 68% of the more than 70,200 drug overdose deaths in 2017 involved an opioid. In 2017, the number of overdose deaths involving opioids (including prescription opioids and illegal opioids like heroin and illicitly manufactured fentanyl) was 6 times higher than in 1999. It’s time we improve education and prevention efforts for patients who need pain medication for either acute or chronic conditions.
